About the Institution
A tradition, at last, for lemonade.
Wine has its grands crus. Coffee has its cuppings. Craft beer has its juries. Lemonade, until now, has had only thirst.
The Awards exist to grant quality lemonade the cultural appreciation long granted to its older siblings — recognising not the lowest price, but flavour, craftsmanship, innovation and the complete experience at the table.
An initiative of Spritzema, the Dutch lemonade company founded by the actor Marcel Hensema with former Hooghoudt craftsmen Joris Magnin and Michiel Brandsma.
